Are Your Actions Congruent With Your Dreams....?

How Congruent Are you Being?
I love to talk about three things, especially after a couple glasses of good wine. The topics are: personal creative power, the psychology of marketing, and wealth creation. I think the reason these topics are so fun to discuss is the fact that they are so intertwined. You cannot create one without understanding the other. As I sit on the deck of a house I rented on Lake Austin, my mind keeps coming back to the concept of congruency and how it relates to all three. There a couple different definitions for the word “congruent” but I think this one is the most relevant for this situation:
In psychology and NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming), congruence could be defined as rapport within oneself, or internal and external consistency, perceived by others as sincerity or certainty.
Look at the different words in this definition and how they apply to each topic. Let’s start with personal creative power. It is staggering how much of this we possess and how little most of us understand it. Combine creative thought with  persistent action, and then fuel the two with emotion, and you have the eternal recipe for “miracles”. Take Thomas Edison for example. He knew he would revolutionize the world if he could create a sustainable lightbulb. He actually created many forms that “worked” before he created the one we know now. The problem was they burnt out within a day, a week, or a month. Who wants to change light bulbs everyday? He tried over 10,000 substances before he found that bamboo worked the longest and the rest is history. Let’s look at how congruent Edison was with what he desired. As far as personal power is concerned, Edision developed the idea, so he “created” something out of nothing. The internal rapport was always 100% convinced that he could do it. He had both internal and external consistency in his message. Even when people mocked him after his 9000th try, he never waivered. It takes a lot of energy to break through the bonds of limitation and that is why a lot of people give up. Edison’s actions stayed congruent with his internal vision.
Now I said there were three topics, so let’s look at how the Edison example applies to marketing. Edison knew he could provide one of his first light bulb models and receive unimaginable praise. Remember, everyone was still reading by candle. A light bulb that could work for a day had amazing commercial ramifications. Edison, however, had a much bigger vision of how he was going to market his invention. He knew that if he could create a bulb that lasted for hundreds of hours, instead of just a few, he would have a product that the whole world could afford. He could have cashed in early. He chose to stay the course. His certainty was unshakeable. He eventually created a bamboo based filament and a bulb that lasted for hundreds of hours.
The third part to the congruency equation is wealth creation. If you look at the trials and tribulations of Edison it is surprising that he persisted so long. It is even more surprising, to some, that he didn’t take the easy money. When you truly realize the value of what you offer, when you really grasp the power of your creative abilities, and when you are congruent with every thought and every action, the creation of wealth is a guarantee. Wealth is simply a byproduct of you staying true to your vision and providing value to the world. I have always thought of it as a game. If I set my sites on a financial goal, all I have to do is work backwards down to the smallest actions. Combine that with passion and persistence and you are completely congruent.

8 Key Differences Between Super Affiliates and Struggling Affiliate

Since I’ve been a successful affiliate marketer for a long time and have coached many affiliates on how to be more successful, I thought it could be helpful write about the key differences that I see between the mindsets of super affiliates and struggling affiliates.
If you have dabbled in affiliate marketing but aren’t making a killing yet, then you might find that some of the differences I mention below are issues you need to resolve first.
1. Super affiliates take action towards their goals, while struggling affiliates often procrastinate, or spend too much time overeducating or preparing themselves and not enough time DOING. Super affiliates are usually prepared to fail fast and often, learning from their mistakes, rather than not making any progress at all.
2. Super affiliates invest their money in software, marketing, and outsourcing, and then spend what is left. Struggling affiliates spend the vast majority of their money on other parts of their lives, and then invest what is left in their online business.
3. Super affiliates invest their time in networking with and learning from other successful people, whereas struggling affiliates often try to work alone, or listen to people who have a negative influence on them. In addition, super affiliates try to learn as much as possible from other successful people through books, audio, or DVDs. This is especially important when you’re not in a position or location where you can network with other successful Internet marketers face to face.
4. On a similar note, super affiliates enjoy the process of learning, even when they’re learning from their failures. Struggling affiliates often don’t enjoy having to constantly learn new techniques and ideas, and don’t appreciate the experience of failing in order to learn and grow.
5. Most super affiliates understand the power of their mind and focus on developing strong self belief and an abundance mindset, whereas struggling affiliates can get derailed by negative self-talk, focusing on what is going wrong in their lives and in their affiliate marketing efforts.
6. Most super affiliate millionaires that I’ve met in person (and I’ve met dozens) only focus on one or two niches. It’s true that most have experimented in many other niches in order to find the ‘golden’ one or two that work for them. Struggling affiliates, though, are often scattered all over the place, and even when they find a niche that makes them money, they keep moving on to the next niche without fully maximizing their potential or getting to know a niche in extreme depth.
7. Most super affiliates build a strong mailing list through email capture and make regular repeat sales to the same people. Struggling affiliates often like to skip the process of building a website to gain leads and focus on direct traffic, missing out on the chance of repeat sales and having more marketing opportunities.
8. Most super affiliate millionaires I know, including myself, make the vast majority of their money from the big competitive niches, and not from the smaller, less competitive niches. Super affiliates are not afraid of competition, whereas many struggling affiliates are. Super affiliates realize that to make big money, you have to go where the big money is. I’ll clarify this by saying that small niches are good to sink your teeth into early on and to make some sales, but in the long run, to make 7 figures or more online, you need to get good at marketing in one of the major niches where billions of dollars are being spent (e.g., diet/fitness, make money online, dating/relationships niches, self-help, security software, etc.).

When Mapping for Success-The Basic Path Remains True...!

Internet Marketer or MLM Guru-Either Way the Path for Success is the Same.

  I remember reading the phrase" Master of Your Fate,Captain of your Soul". And,agreeing that the most powerful and fastest change for success comes in our mind. A positive thought can birth a defined Desire which with Focus and Belief will create an Obsession. This Idea or Obsession can be grown into a well designed plan. All hinging on the ability of future Millionaire to take immediate Action and be willing to Risk failure.

  A great Warrior once decided to burn his ships so he had no escape and win at all costs. Are you willing to burn your ships in order to have what we wish for? Only by doing so can you be Focused on a winning state of Mind. Most know that wishing for money will bring nothing. And, taking Desire into an action plan fueled by Persistence can transform into a Real fortune.

  I am a Big fan of true thinkers like Napoleon Hill and Robert Kiyosaki. These men have taken Success formulas and made it their belief system. Their ships were left burning and that action to win has never been a question. Relearn what is your Desire Wealth and you will discover all we really want is to Win.
  Build desire and know what you are willing to give in exchange for success. Make time a line and  formulate a specific plan, then, move to Action. I am always inspired by the fact that Edison failed over 1000 times before his Light shined bright. Failure, according to the experts is our pallet for learning. I must be great learner by now, are You?

The Extinction of the Traveling Salesman- Part 2

Yes the Traveling Salesman of the last 30 years is Going Extinct...! 
I have seen the Rise and Fall of many technologies in my sales career.  All have used and successfully nurtured the Outside salesman. Until about 5 years ago. You could say an awakening of Thrift has hit Corporate Sales Management. The cry being "How can we Sell More and Pay Less" to our Revenue source the Sales Stiff?
 
If you have been a Territory Manager for anyone you have seen the changes in your treatment by your company. But, what about the Changes in the Federal Tax Laws? It use to be that we could write off most things done out of a Home Office. Not any more! 

My account tells me that 2010 will end the advantages to having the Remote office with Corporate America. And for this reason the Baby Boomer will be the Last generation of Outside Sales Warrior....!

A year ago I hit a travel wall and had to make a decision. Do I keep traveling at this pace or end up divorced? So, what do I do and where do I turn to Next...?


Great question I think every person in this "Recession" is considering...?

My decision was pretty easy. I liked working from home and needed to spend more time with my family. But, I had to find a Business model that would create a source of "Residual Income".


I can't effort to invest enough right now in order to have true residual income.

I needed to find a Home Based Internet Solution. And I found One.

No Large investment with a amazing amount of education and mentoring..!

The Extinction of the Traveling Saleman

I have been in Outside Sales for over 25 years and all of  this time on the road. Yes, The "Traveling Salesman". So, needless to say I am upset to see all the changes in the Sales world over the last 5 years.
And, if you are in sales or have been sales you will be able to see my point.

First, as a Baby Boomer, I have seen Corporate America's complete turn against the Salesman. We use to be respected, and always trained in the newest methods in order to out sell the competition. Not any more!! A sales person is expected to know how to cold call, demonstrate the products and close deals. Even though, they may have never been well trained.

Corporations use to treat Salesmanship as an Art form. Now, just a warm body on the street. Going after a Sales quota. Territories are now being cut up so it's Cheaper to cover. And, the Target Markets are divided into Vertical categories.

What that means? Smaller Territories, Smaller Customer Base, and Bigger Quotas.
 And the added bonus is you get "Paid the Same Money."
Why? Because no Company today wants to risk anything financially on their Sales.
Except You.

Has anyone noticed that the days of the 20 year employee is Long Gone.
No wonder why the Baby Boomers are the last Dying Breed of Road Warrior.

What's the Solution for me and you....?
"Take Action on that Dream".
Fire The Boss...!!
